We've been given an interesting site for our Rotterdam project, a linear waterfront site, that is also very windy. Here's a cold Scarlett on site with stuff being blown about, i think its an issue that needs tackling for this one.
On the right behind the verge there is also a 19 th Century park, in stark contrast to the site, my initial response was that the site could be a place where parkland meets water rather than being dissected and cut off by roads and industry.
A part of our brief is to explore the site at differing scales from global to local in order to inform our designs.
I've been looking at World events and festivals and want to design a park that can accomodate and host these and more. Here's some of my analysis animated, but uploaded its a bit too small to read and the quality isn't very good, i'll have to work out why?
