'Quaggy River' is a interesting project undertaken in Lewisham by a number of groups including the Environemnt Agency, Councils of Greenwich and Lewisham and the Quaggy Waters Action Group, to recover an underground river for the purposes of floodwater management, whilst simultaneously creating new wetland habitats and public destination landscape spaces.
